Jeff
"J. W." Carver was born and
raised in East Los Angeles. He attended
California State Polytechnic University,
Pomona on an academic scholarship.
He
graduated "with honors" and
went on to study law at Pepperdine University,
School of Law, where he also received
a scholarship for excellence in the study
of criminal law. He was admitted to the
California State Bar in 1976 and has provided
representation on behalf of defendants
ever since.
J.
W. is an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He
regularly races in vintage motocross events
and is the 2002 Number #1 plate holder
for vintage motorcycle racing in the Southwest
Region. He is a member of the American
Historic Racing Motorcycle Association
(A.H.R.M.A.), the Southwest Vintage Racing
Group, Inc., (past President, 1998 and
1999) and California Vintage Motocross,
Inc.

J.
W. is also an experienced musician. He
has played drums, harmonica and bass guitar
with such bands as 'Spectrum,' 'Alter
Ego,' and 'Doubleshot.' Jeff is currently a member of Eve and the Bad Apples. These bands have
played rock & roll and blues at various
venues in Southern California and J.W.'s
bands have annually been featured at the
Del Mar Fair as well as at J.W.'s annual
Motolaw Rock and Roll Rodeo Party and
Blues Jam.
